Penny and her husband met as children at the local ballroom dance studio and danced competitively for 13 years becoming the United States Ballroom Dance Champions in high school. Penny & Jim, a plastic surgeon with a 30 year Westport practice, moved to Fairfield County in 1988 where they raised their three, now married, children in Fairfield and Westport. She was an active member of the parent organizations at Greens Farms Academy, Fairfield Country Day School, Hopkins School and Kent School and member of the Fairfield County Hunt Club and Saugatuck Rowing Club. She is extremely knowledgeable about real estate, as she has bought, renovated and sold twelve of her own homes.

A former RN, Penny’s elite nursing career spanned positions in ICU, open-heart surgery, cardiac catheterization, nursing management as a head nurse and hospital supervisor, and in nursing education as a clinical teacher. She has worked at some of the nation’s most coveted medical centers: the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Georgetown University Medical Center in DC and UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

A Lifestyle expert and Influencer, she is founder of LYONSLIFESTYLE (www.Lyonslifestyle.com), a successful website and blog on home, entertaining, table design and luxury living.
